About Gena West:
Gena is of Nigerian heritage, was born and educated in the UK, and has lived in London, Accra and New York. Gena is an award-winning singer/songwriter and performer, with four critically-acclaimed albums to her credit, a number 1 hit single “Joy”, and accolades for numerous high-profile events around the world, including the Olympic Games. As the daughter of a United Nations diplomat, she has travelled the world extensively and, coming from a diverse background, Gena is an avid agent of change, as exemplified in her TEDx talk and in her cutting-edge television chat show, “A Different View with Gena West”.
