​The format for this session will be 45 minutes on a panel where we go as deep and specific in how these three actually made the shift. Then we'll open it up to audience Q&A for the last 15 minutes.

​About panelists:

Cindy McLaughlin

​Cindy joined CarbonBuilt as Head of Product, overseeing carbon monetization and policy. Before joining CarbonBuilt, Cindy was founding CEO of Envelope, a hyperlocal acquisitions analytics company for commercial real estate. She is co-chair of the Tech and Innovation Council of the Urban Land Institute of New York City (ULI) and serves on the Editorial Board of Propmodo. Prior to founding Envelope, Cindy held leadership roles in a variety of companies, including President, Content + Consumer for American Prison Data Systems, a company focused on educational software for incarcerated communities and co-founder and CEO of Style for Hire. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College and a Master in Business Administration, with a focus on technology and strategy, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

​Mayaan Roth

​Maayan Roth is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Crux since May 2024, Maayan previously held the same title at UtilityAPI, where contributions included expanding the engineering team from 17 to 30 members. With advisory roles at Overjet and Osmind, Maayan also served as Chief Technology Officer at Flatiron Health, leading a large team of approximately 350 professionals. Earlier experience includes positions at Google, where Maayan was a Senior Software Engineer responsible for backend operations related to user reviews on Google Maps. Maayan holds a PhD in Robotics and a B.S. in Computer Science, both from Carnegie Mellon University.

​Meghan Reibstein

​As COO of Gridware, Meghan and team are collaborating with utility companies to enhance existing grid assets with cutting-edge technology in an effort to prevent forest fires, reduce utility spend, and ultimately make our grid more resilient. Previously, as the VP of Product at Zillow, she held the pen on the first housing super app integrated product strategy after establishing the Product Operations function. Her leadership of Zillow’s flip to flexible work during Covid-19 was featured in the NYT, Financial Post, and Fortune. Earlier in her career, as an Amazon 'S-team' Technical Advisor and as the global owner of the first Prime Day, she guided the delivery of Amazon's (then biggest) revenue-driving day in history.
