​For this session we'll be drawing BUSY TOWNS using simple shapes, repetition, variation and limited colour palettes. This is a great way to build up compositional skills as well as understanding how more complex scenes can be built up in a surprisingly simple way.

​As always, I'll be working in Procreate, but you could easily do this one with a sketchbook, a pencil, and perhaps some markers or coloured pencils.

​​​What Will We Do?

​​I'll guide you through a process of building up some simple shapes to work with, and then assembling it all together in a composition. We meet on video call.

​​​What Do We Need to Bring?

​Bring your favourite illustration app and tools, such as Procreate, Photoshop, or even paints. Basic sketching tools like paper and pencil will work too!

​​Will there be a Replay if I can't Attend?

​​As always, I will be recording the event and making it available as a replay to Drawing Buddy Patrons. If you'd like to have this option, consider joining — it costs less per session and you get access to ALL previous replays too!
