VentureESG: ESG on Boards Launch

​Boards are a powerful lever of positive change in the start-up ecosystem. But often boards don’t intentionally lead or drive sustainability related long-term value - for a set of valid reasons - including a lack of clarity on where to start.

In response, VentureESG (with the project sponsored by Balderton Capital) have developed an open-source, practical guide for Boards on why, how and when to integrate sustainability into their agenda. To do so we interviewed ~40 practitioners with hands-on board and ESG experience: investors with board seats, CEOs/ founders, and other Board level experts, to gain insights into current practices and opportunities for improvement.

On the 1st July we will launch the report alongside a panel discussion with a selection of leading thinkers in the space.
