Healthcare Team Finalists:
BioStrive
BioStrive's generative AI tool, Emporia, transforms the life science commercialization process, allowing companies to upload clinical and economic literature to instantly generate product claims. Life science companies will be able to create compliant content for value briefs, dossiers, and marketing collateral at a click of a button, ultimately getting patients the latest innovation faster.
Diatom Biolab
Diatom Biolab is building a Bio-Server, the next-generation wet lab on semiconductors to provide automated experiment-as-a-service. The mission is to enable Moore's law for biological discovery.
Micropoint Therapeutics
Micropoint Therapeutics is on a mission to break the hospitalization cycle Bipolar Disorder patients face with an innovative sustained drug delivery technology. By combining the efficacy of an injection and the convenience of a pill, Micropoint Therapeutics will improve patient compliance and accessibility, reducing psychiatric intervention and relapse rates. Through this technology, Micropoint Therapeutics is on track to revolutionize the standard of care for patients with Bipolar Disorder.
Ascend MedTech
Ascend MedTech is fundamentally changing the management of aortic stenosis caused by the buildup of calcium on the aortic valve. Akin to how Americans are advised to get two dental cleanings per year to reduce the buildup of plaque, Ascend envisions a world where people can stay heart healthy with regular valve cleanings. A pre-seed stage company out of the UCLA Biodesign program, Ascend MedTech is not only weakening the calcium lesions that prevent the aortic valve from functioning properly, but also we are saving lives, one crack at a time.
EchoPoint
An innovative medical device that enhances precision and control in ultrasound-guided procedures. Improving needle visibility and placement, our solution empowers clinicians to perform safer and more effective interventions, reducing complications and increasing confidence in procedures like regional anesthesia and vascular access.
