Building Resilience in the Founder Journey
The Event
The personal toll of building a business is real—over 75% of entrepreneurs report struggling with their physical and emotional well-being.
In this candid session, fintech veteran Nektarios Liolios draws from five years of work with The Future Farm and his own founder experience to explore the hidden cost of entrepreneurship.
We’ll unpack how to spot the early signs when things aren’t right, share stories from fellow founders, and offer practical tools for staying grounded and resilient—backed by the latest scientific data that sheds light on the emotional realities of the founder journey.
This is very different from our normal investor/bank-focused panel events. If you have met Nektarios, then you will understand why this deserves it's own event.
Who is Nektarios?
Nektarios accidentally landed in banking and spent 15 years doing “serious” things in a suit. Then in 2011, he stumbled into an innovation team—and never looked back. That twist flung him into the wild world of startups, where he’s been building, backing, and walking alongside entrepreneurs ever since.
He cofounded Startupbootcamp FinTech (the world’s largest fintech startup accelerator) and the Innotribe Startup Challenge (the first global fintech startup competition). He also built Radish Credit to help underserved communities finance important life needs.
But what really drives him these days? Helping founders stay sane. 5 years ago Nektarios cofounded The Future Farm—a global community for healthier entrepreneurship—and is now doubling down on that mission through Foundology and his newest baby, Pnoē: a space for founders and leaders to breathe.
Outside of all that, he’s a full-time travel geek and part-time sneaker freaker.
