吴冠中与蔡斯民作品展：两位大师的星洲奇缘Wu Guanzhong and Chua Soo Bin: the Friendship of Masters
提到吴冠中先生，大家都不会陌生，这位中国现代艺术大师，凭着别树一帜的抽象艺术理念，将中国传统文化与西方意念和技巧的融合，在当今艺坛上备受尊崇。然而很多人或许不知道，这位大师的背后，有一位重要的来自新加坡的艺术推动者，他就蔡斯民先生。
蔡斯民是新加坡著名摄影艺术家，重要的艺术策展人，新加坡国家文化奖章得主，同时，他也是吴冠中先生在新加坡的忘年之交。
自80年代起，两位艺术大师就在新加坡结下了深厚的友谊。之后的22里，蔡斯民成为了吴冠中重要的影像记录者，蔡斯民跟随吴冠中到世界各地写生，用镜头记录下了他在创作和生活中的点滴，成为珍贵的学术影像资料。
同时，蔡斯民创办的斯民艺苑作为吴冠中最大的艺术代理画廊之一，经手过200多幅吴冠中的精品作品，出版了多本重要画册，为吴冠中作品的推广立下了汗马功劳。

这次的展览主题是纪念两位大师的友谊，展览将展出蔡斯民老师1990年和吴冠中共同创作的光绘摄影作品《点线无极》，以及吴冠中先生90年代创作的精品作品。蔡斯民老师会亲临开幕现场，诚邀您来和我们一起见证这段两位艺术大师的友谊故事！

Mr. Wu Guanzhong is the one of the most well-known Chinese modern art master. With his unique concept of abstract art, has integrated Chinese traditional culture with Western ideas and techniques, earning great respect in today's art world. However, many people may not know that behind this master, there is an important art promoter from Singapore, Mr. Chua Soo Bin.
Chua Soo Bin is a renowned photography artist, an important art curator, and a recipient of the Singapore Cultural Medallion. He is also Mr. Wu Guanzhong's lifelong friend in Singapore.
Since the 1980s, these two art masters have formed a deep friendship in Singapore. Over the 22 years, Chua Soo Bin became an important visual recorder for Wu Guanzhong. Chua Soo Bin accompanied Wu Guanzhong on sketching trips around the world, using his camera to capture the moments of Wu Guanzhong's artistic life, the photos have becoming valuable visual achieve materials.
At the same time, Chua Soo Bin's establishment of the Soo Bin Art Gallery, as one of the largest art agencies for Wu Guanzhong's works, handled over 200 exquisite pieces by Wu Guanzhong and published several important art catalogs, contributing significantly to the promotion of Wu Guanzhong's works.

The theme of this exhibition is to commemorate the friendship between the two masters. The exhibition will feature the light painting photographic work "Infinite Dots and Lines" co-created by Mr. Chua Soo Bin and Mr. Wu Guanzhong in 1990, as well as exquisite works created by Mr. Wu Guanzhong in the 1990s. Mr. Chua Soo Bin will be present at the opening ceremony, and we sincerely invite you to witness this story of friendship between the two art masters with us!
