1)Venture Scout

Job Overview:

A HashKey Venture Scout is crypto-native, intrisincally driven, curious, and passionate about connecting with the most daring founders in web3/crypto/blockchain. You will be attending the most prominent web3 conferences to interface with founders, industry leaders and media, refer the most promising teams building in the blockchain to the investment committee, and receive mentorship to write compelling memos that make your case on why HashKey should invest.

Successful candidates are expected to convert to full-time Associates or Senior Associates.

Job Responsibilitie:

● Engage in blockchain ecosystem, developer communities and project teams, while following industrial trends closely;

● Try and test products,review prototypes, and identify the best product and team;

● Identify promising startups at the early stage and write investment memos;

● Build connections with industry leaders, startups, and founders, and perform ongoing engagement on-chain, off-chain, on-line and in real life;

● To participate in community activities, such as governance, prototype design, product discussion, etc;

●Plan and execute on blockchain events both in major crypto hubs, such as SF, NYC, and Miami as well as online through hackathons and twitter-verse.

● Collaborate with other functional units, such as the research team and portfolio management team to fulfill scouting program missions.

Minimum Qualifications:

● 1-2 years of individual or professional experience in web3, blockchain or crypto, and is familiar with concepts and tools such as wallets, exchanges, DeFi, NFT, etc;

● Professional experience in blockchain companies or blockchain VCs (internship is okay)

● Solid oral and written communication skills;

● Open to 2-3 days a week of evening meeting times to sync up with global teams.● Strong team player with good organizational, time management and planning skills;

Good-To-Have Qualifications:

● A Computer Science background that can review code, product tech-stack, and conduct in-depth technical due diligence is preferred, not required;

● Comfort with Mandarin spoken and/or written;

● A MBA or Master’s degree in related fields such as cryptography, computer science, and/or mathematics.

2)Portfolio Growth Senior Manager

Job Overview:

A HashKey Portfolio Growth Senior Manager is crypto-native, people-first, with a winning mindset, passionate about blockchain startups, keen on building strong relationships with founders, and a natural team-player with a knack for building rocketship startups.

You will work closely with the founders, investment team, and ecosystem – to help founders get connected to partners, exchanges, services and talent, help investment team with post-investment management, and help ecosystem partners support our founders. You are the glue that holds everything together. You are the engine to our portfolio growth.

Job Responsibilitie:

● Drive strategic conversations with our portfolio founders to help them hire, launch, grow and exit.

● Engage in protocol ecosystem, developer communities and project communities, and follow the industrial trend closely;

● Manage crypto portfolios to maximize growth and return at exit;

● Organize portfolio financial reporting;

● Plan and execute on events we co-host with portfolio protocols and companies at blockchain conferences;

● Collaborate with other functional units, such as the research team, and portfolio management team to fulfill diverse team missions.

Minimum Qualifications:

● Proven experience in Growth, BD or Product Manager at fast-growing startups;

● 1-2 years of individual or professional experience in Web3, blockchain and crypto, and is familiar to operate tools, products and social media, such as wallet, exchange, DeFi, NFT, etc;

● Professional experience in blockchain companies or VCs (internship is okay)

● Solid oral and written communication skills;● Open to 2-3 days a week of evening meeting times to sync up with global teams.

● Strong team player with good organizational, time management and planning skills;

Good-To-Have Qualifications:

● Founded or Co-Founded a web3/blockchain/crypto startup, regardless of stage or traction

● Comfort with Mandarin spoken and/or written;

● Willingness to travel to meet founders and attend portfolio offsite in person
