About Event

In a rapidly changing world where we will soon engage with AI at every turn, we are faced with questions...

  • Is AI inherently biased, or are we just building our biases into the tech? Who’s to blame: the algorithm, the data, or us?

  • What happens when AI perpetuates discrimination at scale?

  • Can we really de-bias AI, or is it too late? Is the damage already done?

  • What’s worse: AI that’s biased, or AI that pretends to be unbiased? How do we stop the deception?

  • Who owns the responsibility of auditing AI, and should we trust corporations to regulate their own systems, or is that a moral catastrophe waiting to happen?

At this panel discussion over lunch, we'll debate these questions and more about AI and the needs of its development in an ethical and responsible manner.

Special Guests:
Alexandria de Aranzeta: Host, The Culture of Machines - a Responsible AI podcast. CEO, Accessity

Richmond Wong: Assistant Professor, Georgia Tech. Lead, Creating Ethics Infrastructure Lab

(Moderator) Grant Wainscott: Principal Partner, ABF Consulting

This free event will be a discussion over a provided lunch.
