Simon Ritchie
Startup FP&A expert, Founder of Blox
Simon Ritchie is a seasoned entrepreneur and software innovator with a passion for helping businesses achieve their full potential through forward-looking financial planning and analysis (FP&A). As the Founder & CEO of Blox, Simon leads the development of a cloud-based FP&A platform that simplifies financial modelling, streamlines reporting, and drives better decision-making for businesses of all sizes.
Simon's journey to Blox began in finance as a CIMA-qualified Management Accountant, where he honed his skills in financial modelling and analysis. Recognising the limitations of traditional spreadsheets and legacy FP&A systems, he transitioned into software and product roles at Anaplan, eventually founding Blox to address the need for a more intuitive and accessible FP&A solution.
With a deep understanding of both finance and technology, Simon brings a unique perspective to the challenges faced by startups and scale-ups. He is a passionate advocate for empowering Founders, CFOs, and their teams to move beyond the limitations of spreadsheets, to make bold plans and explore multiple "what-if" scenarios and make informed decisions that fuel growth.

Lauren O'Donnell
Founder of Oatsu
Lauren O'Donnell is the founder of Oatsu — the brand proving that yes, you can be an overnight oats person.
Oatsu makes it easy to enjoy a healthy, delicious breakfast on-the-go, with ready-to-eat overnight oats delivered to your door — packed with protein, fibre, and an industry-leading shelf life.
Following its launch on Ocado on 16 July, Oatsu will land in Selfridges this September, alongside the release of its high-protein ‘Just Add Milk’ range — a store-cupboard version of its chilled bestsellers.
In December 2023, Lauren raised £250k from angel investors and its community via a crowdfund on Seedrs (Republic), exceeding its target by 250%.
Oatsu’s next raise — a £500k EIS-eligible round opening in Q4 — will support national retail expansion and fuel its mission to become the UK’s leading healthy breakfast brand.
