Hour of Action for Parking Reform
Parking Reform Network and Climate Changemakers are pleased to bring you an Hour of Action for Parking Reform!
Bad parking policies in cities across America require new buildings to offer a minimum number of parking spaces, even when there's no need. These policies contribute to urban sprawl and car congestion, and they inhibit mass transit and walkable cities.
The good news? There’s broad consensus that these policies need to go. Our city council members have the power to change these local laws, and they're surprisingly reachable.
We'll spend the Hour getting up to speed on the opportunity, and actually taking action using a powerful playbook from Climate Changemakers..
There's nothing you need to do to prepare. Seriously, nothing. Whether you're a seasoned advocate or brand new to political action, this space is for you. Curious what to expect on an Hour of Action? Read more here.
Register above and check your email or calendar invite for the Zoom link. See you soon!
