About Event

🚀 The Center for Black Entrepreneurship is proud to present the Inaugural New Venture Competition, hosted on April 23 at Spelman College.

This competition is more than a pitch event — it's a platform to celebrate, support, and amplify the next generation of Black innovators and entrepreneurs from the Atlanta University Center (AUC).

💡 16 student-founders will present bold ventures across consumer, creative, social, and tech industries, all competing for over $65,000 in startup funding.

Attendees will enjoy:

✔️ A live pitch experience judged by industry experts
✔️ Opportunities to connect with student founders, alumni, and community leaders
✔️ Giveaways, light refreshments, and a live audience pitch segment where $500 will be awarded to 4 lucky audience members
