​Unconscious Bias

​The first topic in our series is unconscious bias. Unconscious bias is a natural form of faster information processing that we all experience. How does unconscious bias influence the way we see ourselves and others both personally and professionally? Are there ways we can intentionally make ourselves aware of our own biases to better understand different perspectives? Hopefully together we can have a fruitful conversation beyond these initial questions. We welcome your thoughts and experiences to this community dialogue.

​HLS Human Resources and the Tell Me Your Story podcast invite you to join a new conversation series at HLS, designed to engage staff on relevant topics related to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB).  In the spirit of community, learning, and understanding, these talks are intended to be casual and interactive, allowing staff to share their thoughts and life experiences. We will use community norms to create an inclusive and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing.
