Dive into sustainability and creativity with Veggie Mijas Bay Area at Snow Park (across from Lake Merritt) in Oakland, CA on April 28, 2024! Join us from 2 pm - 5 pm for an evening filled with eco-friendly practices, creativity, and fostering community connections.
Bring your clean, clothing to swap and reinvigorate your wardrobe with fresh, new-to-you pieces! We'll be led through a few important upcycling techniques, firsthand by experts Gissell and Victoria Wilson. Discover innovative ways to transform your old clothing items into new treasures while contributing to a greener planet.
Indulge in delicious vegan treats as you mingle with the community who share your passion for sustainability. Remember to ensure that your swap contributions are clean. Please no socks or undergarments and ensure items are clean for the next person; all items not swapped will be donated to local shops and organizations supporting community members in need.
