Play with Clay: An Intergenerational Hangout [Members & +1s]
We’re partnering with a wonderful non-profit, LBFE (Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly), to bring together people young and old to bond over fascinating stories and collaborative pottery and clay sculpting.
Last year, the event was a massive success! One elder with early onset Alzheimer's mentioned that he found his creative side for the first time and couldn't believe he could connect so quickly with young adults; another older adult mentioned: "Thank you for being."
1:40 - Doors open
2:00-2:15 - Intros + Get to know your group
2:15-3:30 - Co-create pottery and clay sculptures while sharing life stories
3:30-4:00 - Showcase your art work

* LBFE supports isolated older adults of all genders through various volunteering programs and social events.
