About Event

It’s been a big week — between Stanford Climate Week and SF Climate Week, there’s been a lot of energy, ideas, and connection in the air. At the same time, we don’t always get a chance for current students and recent alumni to share about their climate journeys and exchange ideas across experiences.

We’re gathering Sunday morning for an informal debrief at Meyer Green. This is a space to reflect, process, and connect with others who’ve been in the mix — whether you were at every event or just popped into one or two.

There’s no set agenda. Come with thoughts, takeaways, or questions — or just show up to relax outside with good people after a full week. (We’re also calling all Stanford alumni and the climate community to come share their takeaways and professional wisdom, especially those who couldn’t make it throughout the week because of work or the commute!)

Who’s this for:

Anyone who participated in Stanford or SF Climate Week in any capacity. Students, recent alumni, community folks — all welcome.

About Stanford Climate Group (SCG)

We care about creating a climate community and designing it to be a tight-knit, multigenerational space for interdisciplinary connection, mentorship, and mutual support—one that has your back long after graduation.

We’re bringing together folks from across majors and years who’ve been nominated for their care, commitment, and curiosity about climate. Whether you’re working on tech, policy, activism, art, or still figuring it out — this is a space to learn, collaborate, and grow together.

We care about forming lasting, meaningful relationships with peers and mentors who are on a similar path—and we want it to be something that moves with you, not something you leave behind at Stanford.

Things to bring:

  • Blanket or towel for sitting

  • Potluck-style snack, drink, or treat (optional) there will be some

  • Reflections or insights (also optional)
