Get to know your instructor: Maggie Olson
Maggie Olson is the founder of Nova Chief of Staff and the creator of the Nova Certification course. A former Chief of Staff herself, she’s worked across industries including tech, retail, and hospitality — at companies like T-Mobile, Nordstrom, and Starbucks.
While completing her MBA and navigating her first Chief of Staff role, Maggie realized something was missing: there were thousands of project management courses, but nothing designed to help people understand what the CoS role actually is, or to practice doing the work in real time. So she built the course she wished she had, one rooted in clarity, hands-on learning, and real-world leadership.
She’s now trained over 1,200 professionals across 35 countries and is known for her candid, practical teaching style. Maggie knows what it takes to thrive in the CoS seat and she’s built a course and a team at Nova to help you do it, too.
