Chapter V: "The Romantic Reaction" from the philosopher Alfred North Whitehead's book Science and the Modern World

, in which he gives special attention to the poets William Wordsworth and Percy Bysshe Shelley. 

Accompanying Whitehead's account of the rebellious impact of the poetry, 

"Tintern Abbey" and "Mont Blanc" by Wordsworth and Shelley respectively.

The poems are relatively long, so plan to set aside at least 15 minutes for each, plus at least half an hour for the Whitehead excerpt.
