MCJ Community Welcome Call

This is a monthly meetup for women who work in, or want to work in, climate. 

4. Move through topics in order of highest to lowest votes (7 min per topic)

We will use a Lean Coffee format, where we co-create the agenda real-time and get through the topics that are most interesting to the group. Each month we'll pick an industry learning theme and a jobs related theme to focus on. 

This is a casual event so come when you can and no worries if you miss a month. It's helpful to RSVP each month so we have a sense of who is joining or not.

Please reach out with questions or feedback. Anyone is welcome who identifies as a woman, no matter your climate experience.

Working on an idea or early-stage startup in climate that you would like to get MCJ community feedback on? Looking to see what MCJ Members are working on behind the scenes, and contribute your opinion? 

Each Idea Jam is centered around a certain theme: 

The goal? That these sessions provide a chance for MCJ members to get help with roadblocks, meet co-founders or future employees,  connect with investors, or people working on similar topics. For people just listening in, these sessions may spark your own ideas, and in the process enable you to meet others!

Wednesday May 18th, 2022 at 5:30pm at Zeitgeist Beer Garden in the Mission

 for a low-key hangout session with the Bay Area MCJ Collective member community!  

Due to a last minute Mavericks vs. Warriors game scheduled for this Wednesday at Chase center (just 2 blocks from the original meetup location, SF Social), traffic and parking will likely be very congested. To avoid that, 

WE ARE CHANGING LOCATIONS TO ZEITGEIST BEER GARDEN

We'll see you at Zeitgeist Beer Garden located at  199 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94103! 

Due to higher COVID case counts this week, 

WE'RE STRONGLY ENCOURAGING FOLKS TO SHOW A DAY-OF PROOF (PHOTO) OF A NEGATIVE AT HOME ANTIGEN TEST WHEN ARRIVING

 at Zeitgeist Beer Garden next Wednesday. Even though we'll be outside, we want to do this out of caution for the health of community members who be immunocompromised or have close contact with people who are. 

We'll have some tests onsite for those who may not have day-of access to antigen tests. Thanks everyone — can't wait to see y'all in about a week's time!
