Seth McFarlane

Hey there! I'm Seth McFarlane. I'm a yoga teacher, specializing in Yoga Trapeze®, Breathwork, Flexibility Training, & Meditation!

Why I'm here:

Yoga and meditation transformed my body and mind in an incredible way after I had a severe stroke to my left side from brain surgery to try and help reduce the severity of my Epilepsy in 2018 by removing my entire right temporal lobe with the hippocampus and amygdala. During surgery, they nicked a couple blood vessels, resulting in multiple hemorrhages and completely shutting off the left half of my body and leaving me 50% blind in both eyes. After a year and a half of plateauing in rehab, I got frustrated with still not being able to walk on my own and Needing a wheelchair and walker to do anything at all. I decided to try out some yoga classes at my gym and absolutely fell in love with it. Within just a few weeks of yoga, I no longer needed any Mobility aids. Yoga then led me on a journey to improving my physical health by losing over 200 pounds! Doing yoga regularly then led me to finding meditation and finally taking control over my mind.

These practices changed my life in an amazing way that nobody ever could've imagined. I knew I wanted to become a yoga therapist in 2019, then I finally decided to Do my first 200hr RYT in 2020 when all the gyms and studios shut down. Ever since, I've been studying new styles of yoga with YOGABODY® at Yoga Teachers College® and I currently specialize in: Yoga Trapeze®, targeted Mobility training, breathwork and meditation.

My goal is to help make these yogic practices as effective, progressive and Accessable to as many people as possible! If it could transform my body and mind from being trapped in a wheelchair with next to no use of my left side and incapable of doing anything on my own, to healthier than I've ever been in my entire life, then I feel these practices have to potential to change the lives of absolutely anybody! More people should be experiencing these benefits, regardless of their current condition, and that is why I'm here today! I just want to help other people live their best life, especially those who have hit a brick wall in their trauma recovery and are looking for a physical and mental restoration of hope for their future.

Yoga is my life and I've dedicated the last 3 years of my life to studying vatious styles of yoga and understanding the way the brain, body and mind function. I am very passionate about what I do, and I hope you'll join me on this journey of making this my full-time career in changing the world, one life, one story at a time!

Thank you for being here! I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!
