A discussion led by San-Ullah Bray, Sanlam group Executive: Human Capital, co-facilitated by Dr Chris van der Hoven, CEO: Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development.

Each in-person workshop will be facilitated by a subject matter expert (SME) whose role is to guide the conversation, and to pose questions which initiate dialogue and debate amongst our L&D peers.

Business Culture Workshop 3: Return on Learning debunked 

Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development introduces our new "Business Culture and Other Short Stories" series of face-to-face by-invitation-only workshops for our Learning & Development community of clients and facilitators.

​The workshops follow a discussion-and-collaboration -format led by Subject Matter Experts. There is no one-sided panel questions but rather cultivation of a safe space to discuss and unpack Learning and Development challenges.

​This second workshop in the series is titled, "Embedding learning into the flow of work and culture.

Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development (SBS-ED) extends a warm invitation to Learning and Development Managers, as well as other key human capital and skills development decision-makers, who are seeking management and leadership development interventions for high-potential leaders within their organisations, to join our Open Enrolment (OE) Information Session. 

This information session will be hosted by our

We will share a detailed overview of each of these short courses, including the delivery modes, admission requirements, course modules, learning outcomes, and assessment methods, as well as the various articulation pathways available with partner learning institutions and other added benefits for your employees. 

We will also share how we can cater to your organisation's unique needs and strategic objectives through closed cohorts – providing you with the option of an off-the-shelf intervention that will deep dive into the unique opportunities and challenges facing your

 examines role identity, social capital, as well as diversity and inclusion as approaches to overcome the tension points that challenge the advancement of women in management and leadership roles on personal, social, societal, and institutional levels. 

It also equips women in these roles with the necessary skills and knowledge to explore their personal identity, develop social capital, as well as drive diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

It is aimed at women currently holding management and leadership positions, aspiring women leaders, as well as women who have been earmarked for further development in leadership roles. 

. She brings academic expertise and a passion for the development and empowerment of women in the workplace. She is also a leadership development faculty member at Stellenbosch Business School, and a published academic in the field of women in leadership.

Practical application to self, network, and organisation:

Participants apply learning practically to their own context as they reflect on and articulate their personal role identity, develop approaches to building social capital, and formulate a real life diversity and inclusion plan.

USB Executive Development (USB-ED)’s Young Minds Programme, a 9-month career focused GAP year programme, aims to enable school leavers and young adults with 

 to better equip them to navigate the real world of work and their own careers.

The hour-long info session will outline the practicalities and logistics of this programme for 2022, provide an overview of the programme itself as well as provide insights into the Life Coaching element. You will meet the team behind the programme as well as the Learning Process Facilitators, who play a crucial role in helping students to navigate the programme and stay on track.

As a school leaver, it’s ok not to have all the answers, and the Young Minds Programme will help you to ask the right questions about your future.
