We're still working out logistics. The price per person will come to about $500-1000 per person (not including travel that's on you) for about 4 weeks, but you're welcome to stay for a shorter amount of time.

GENESIS: Dan Manning on Storytelling as an Entrepreneur

Tired after a long week of Chicago’s Innovation scene with Tech Chicago? 

Bust out your tropical shirt and sandals and join the young changemakers of GENESIS on Chicago’s Lakefront for a wonderful lū’au experience!

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted with tiki torches, a personal lei, and tropical drinks in addition to an open grill with all-you-can-eat burgers, hotdogs, and more. A hammock, volleyball net, and other games will be provided. 

Join us for a memorable way to spend the night, mingle with other innovators, and enjoy summertime in Chicago.

GENESIS Chicago Tech Week: Lakefront Lū’au

We had to pull some strings for this one, so buckle up! There's very few spots for the roundtable because we want to keep it intimate, so sign up quick.

Join us at Drive Capital for an engaging and informative roundtable discussion on Thursday, June 29th, led by Bryan Wilcox, co-founder and former CTO of Tovala, a highly successful food-tech company that raised $70M in venture funding. This roundtable talk is an opportunity to gain insights into Product Driven Growth and Fundraising strategies from a seasoned entrepreneur with a robust background in the tech industry.

Bryan is a PhD holder in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and his extensive experience includes working with industry giants like GE, John Deere, and Whirlpool. He has also founded two other companies, including a product manufactory, and continues to offer his expertise in product development in a consultancy capacity.

What's in it for you? Besides the chance to learn from Bryan's experiences and acquire strategies for your own startup, you will also have the opportunity to engage in a dynamic discussion with like-minded individuals and potential collaborators.

We'll also be doing some co-working throughout the day after Bryan's roundtable is over. As always, we'll likely get lunch and / or dinner as a group together.

As always, this event will be super chill. Feel free to come and go. There is no plan, no event, no schedule. Just come show up anytime after 10am and get some work done and do some socializing. We often grab lunch and / or dinner together as well.

Directions: The TechNexus office is on the 12th floor of the Chicago Opera Building at 20 N Upper Wacker Drive. On the side opposite of the river you'll find a revolving door that says "TechNexus" on it. Go through that door. There will be elevators down the hall to the left.
