Creating Visuals 101

We are going to have a co-drawing hour after WOP’s community hour this week. We will do another drawing-from-conversation session as we did in the cohort. Just bring your idea and your favorite drawing tool with you and Have FUN!

Join us in this annual review workshop to reflect on your year and create visuals to capture your precious moments ♥️

This annual review is inspired by Jonny Miller's Reflecting Forwards Annual Review. We will use different archetypes in the template - king, warrior, magician, lover, tribe- to reflect on how you succeed in fighting for your values, carrying through your commitments, and enjoying the wonder of life. ✨

P.s. The original template requires 3-9 hours for thorough reflections. You don't have to complete the reflection before coming to the workshop, but it's highly encouraged!

CV4W Guest Series: Writers Who Draw with Salman Ansari

Have you felt you could improve your drawing but are not sure where to start? Do you want to learn how to analyze your drawings?

We are excited to have Elizabeth Edwards share some principles and frameworks she uses to analyze painting, art, and creative work. Elizabeth is an artist, architect, writer, and museum enthusiast. Check out her awesome 

Elizabeth will help 2-3 participants analyze and give feedback on their drawings. If you are interested, please email your drawing to

CV4W Guest Series: Leslie Kim on Design & Merchandising

Join us for the 4th edition of the CV4W Guest Lecture Series.

This time we are joined by research scientist and writer 

Sairam is a machine learning scientist with over 12 years of experience in the tech industry.

His work has been featured in Forbes magazine, powers phones you use, and has led to several publications and patents.

That's his day job. Outside of work, he's an award-winning nature photographer, writer, aspiring doodler and proud dad. But, above all this, he's an educator and creator at heart. 

He writes a free weekly newsletter, Gradient Ascent, which demystifies AI even for non-technical folks. While taking Write of Passage, he was inspired by John Nicholas' mentor sessions and restarted doodling and illustrating. During his childhood, he loved to make illustrations of cartoon characters and abstract landscapes. This time though, he began illustrating AI concepts. These doodles went viral and caught the attention of bigwigs in the AI world. 

Sairam is currently working on an illustrated AI book called 

. He continues to experiment and try different illustration techniques to make complex ideas simple and fun to learn.
