 is the first in a series of hyperfocus retreats. 

Yes, you read that right, 8 days of pure chill and code with no distraction. Each day will be filled with healthy mindful living, workshops, activities to recharge your body and mind, conversation, family dinners and prompt hacking. 

Sozu Haus are working closely with ETHVietnam who’s focus is Web3 gaming so if you are a passionate Web3 gaming developer/designer/product we would love to hear from you! The Sozu Haus retreat will happen in the week leading up to ETHVietnam.

We will also consider application from individuals without gaming experience who are passionate and want an opportunity to learn and break into the industry. Prompts you hack on will be eligible to be entered into the main ETHVietnam hackathon event.

Accommodation, food and activities will be provided for successful applicants. If you are travelling from outside Vietnam your travel will be will be covered too.

Good Hack NYC hackathon is non-technical and attendees will not need to write code to be eligible for prizes. However, general technical specs will be required for the final submission. 

You do not need to be an expert in climate or public good funding matters; an open mind, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm to build is all we ask for!

Teams will receive mentorship from climate, climate tech & public good experts throughout the hackathon. Winners will receive $10k+ worth of bounty awards and be paired with dev teams for future product development.

In keeping with the philosophy of decentralization, all team outputs will be open source.

The mission of Sozu Haus is to be a home for builders everywhere. At ETHDenver 2023, our goal is to scaffold some of Web3 most advanced builders while they hack at the official ETHDenver Buidlathon. 

We will host technical workshops to introduce major products, fireside chats with our partners to discuss pertinent issues affecting our ecosystem, family meals, networking opportunities (eg. There is a big hot tub), and make space for you to jam together alongside some of the industries premier project teams. It is gonna be big.... Like the biglest and we hope to see you there. 

The Sozu Haus cohort will have exclusive access to support, mentorship and programming while they build. Some of you will even have the opportunity to be apart of sub-cohorts specifically chosen by one of our partners.
