THSA & Cincinnati VA Make/Hack-A-Thon Event!
Details:
This event is the cherry on top of our THSA sundae! TAP Health students will be joined by a small team from the Cincinnati VA Medical Center to participate in a Make/Hack-A-Thon!
The event will take place at Deer Park Branch Library in Meeting Room A.
What is a Make/Hack-A-Thon:
Quite simply: a hackathon is an event where people come together to collaborate intensively on a project for a set time frame. The goal is either to build or improve a product, solve challenges, or create something entirely new. Sometimes they are called makeathons, because the people involved may make a product right on site, or create a framework to do so!
In the case of our event, we will try to produce a result that will be helpful to the Cincinnati VA... and you can find inspiration at other events you visit all summer long.
Same 3 Questions Before Every Event:
Does this event require additional paperwork besides your submitted THSA Forms: YES (The Cincinnati VA may have some light pre-work before the event. We will keep you posted.)
Will this event have food: YES (we will provide lunch)
Is there a map, photos, or other details found in the shared drive: There will be. We will provide additional pre-work that will be available in the shared drive a few weeks before the event.
