Cake Club X Honeycakes
Welcome to: cake club— the (as far as we know) only club where you spend an indulgent two hours decorating and eating cake.
This September, we'll be joined by Monique Fan of Honeycakes! We'll get her hottest cake decorating tips before decorating our own 4in layered honey cakes with all the works. We’ll then box up our cakes and gather around the table to eat one of Monique's cakes, sipping on cold bevvies and befriending strangers.
Each guest will leave with a little more cake-decor know how, their uniquely decorated mini cake, their sweet tooth fully satisfied + hopefully a new friend <3 It will be cozy & creative & fun & communal and we can’t wait to decorate + dine with you.

okay but What IS a honeycake?
A honeycake is a dense, moist cake sweetened with honey and often spiced with cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Known for its lengthy preparation time, it’s cherished in Jewish, Eastern European, and Middle Eastern cuisines. Popular variations, like the Russian Medovik, feature multiple layers and creamy fillings, symbolizing sweetness and prosperity. Monique has taken this centuries old recipe and adapted it to suit the modern palate and flavors that she grew up with.
Please note! This is NOT a workshop, and while there will be inspiration and very basic guidance/instruction, the emphasis will be on play + experimentation with the pre-prepared cakes and curated decoration materials. Monique will be doing the (many!!) hours worth of baking + decoration sourcing so that you can lean into your creativity and have an indulgent afternoon of decorating + dining, trying new techniques and making new friends <3

Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend. Just send us an email!

Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
