About our community:
In the current changing way of work many people seek support in navigating their career and the job market. There are many highly capable people finding it hard to navigate the market and often feel that the journey is isolated. No matter if you are a student/aspiring UX person, a junior, mid-level, senior, new manager, or even a leader. Imposter syndrome, self-doubts, and often lack of support are among many hurdles one faces.
Example questions you can ask to our mentors:
As hiring managers or part of hiring teams what are your current expectations from a candidate?
How do you evaluate a profile while looking for a team mate or sub ordinate? what are the red flags for you, what you appreciate?
How does it look like working in your industry / work environment, what skillsets helps the most ?
What to expect:
Max. 1:6 Mentor-Mentee ratio
Sometimes Hiring Managers are Invited to talk about the role they are hiring for and expectations from it
Possibility of 5-12 weeks of mentorship (with mentors registered with us) funded by the agenturfurarbeit/job center
Employed.world
We support UX community in Berlin/Germany by connecting them with emphatic mentors, job coaches and professionals working currently or in the past worked for companies in Berlin and contributed to the hiring process, by also connecting you with current hiring managers so you can get the opportunity to seek guidance and feedback based on the challenges that you are personally facing. We spoke with job seekers and found out that many are lacking transparent feedback on their profile, job applications, some may need guidance to understand their superpower and so they can stand out from other 100s of applicants or some might feel there are too few job opportunities in the market that they are looking for, then what is the strategy to find or even create roles for you?
