About Event

Event Whatsapp Group: https://burners.london/ttis/whatsapp

TTIS is a unique holiday party that brings together members and enthusiasts from three creative communities: Burning Man, Intelligent Crazy People (ICP), and Network States.
More participation will make this event great. Come to the WhatsApp chat to learn about workshops and activities during the event, or to organise your own.

Before coming to this event please review the following sites to learn about any of these 3 communities that are not already known to you.

Burning Man
LondonDecom.org - This is the most-attended event put on by the London Burning Man community. TTIS will be smaller and different than London Decom, but this is a still a great resource to learn about London burners and the experiences they create together.

Venue Details

Newspeak House, located in the heart of Shoreditch, offers a welcoming space for our gathering. The venue can comfortably accommodate over 100 participants, featuring a main event hall on the ground floor for general activities and socializing. Additionally, there is a large lounge and terrace on the first floor, providing a more intimate setting for conversations, workshops, and activities. The venue is equipped with a projector, potentially used for visual displays or presentations during the event.

What to Expect

TTIS is designed to be a casual and inclusive holiday party. Attendees can look forward to an evening of social interaction, with opportunities to engage in discussions, and enjoy each other's company. While the event encourages the sharing of ideas and experiences from the respective communities, it remains a laid-back gathering primarily focused on celebrating the holiday season together.

Participation and Activities

While TTIS does not have a structured agenda for specific performances or activities, attendees are welcome to bring their ideas and contributions to the event. This could include informal discussions, impromptu music or art displays, or any other form of participation that aligns with the event's casual and inclusive nature.

Ticketing Information

The event offers two types of tickets:

  • Free Tickets: Ensuring open access to all interested attendees.

  • £7 Tickets: These tickets provide some additional benefits, such as priority entrance if the venue reaches capacity and access to a food buffet. (This is similar to 'kitchen memberships' at UK Burning Man regionals).
