Mockingbird Flight School Session 1: Orientation: Now Boarding All Passengers

​Welcome aboard Flight 101 of the Mockingbird Learning Experience! This is your pre-flight orientation where we’ll taxi down the runway of norms, expectations, and intentional weirdness (the good kind). There will be no beverage cart, but there will be high standards, warm welcomes, and flexible learning seats with extra legroom for your doubts and dreams.

This flight session is all about:

• ​Meeting your flight facilitator  (and also coach and mentor)
  

• ​Getting clear on the route ahead (spoiler: we’re heading toward learner transformation)
  

• ​Learning the “no shame re-entry” policy in case you get turbulence mid-journey
  

• ​Building trust before takeoff—because safety isn’t just physical, it’s relational

You won’t need a boarding pass—but you will need:

• ​Curiosity and a willingness to engage and commit (no exiting at 30,000 feet)

• ​Checking your ego (and your baggage) before boarding

• ​And a mouse finger capable of clicking "Join Zoom"
