​Trent is co-founder/GP of Convoi Ventures. In 2022, Trent and Scott Paul launched Convoi Ventures, Utah's only "Utah-only" pre-seed venture capital fund, with the goal to be the first to find and fund Utah's breakout startups. Convoi also leans good-naturedly into the label of "Utah's poorest VC."

​Trent is committed to expanding the diversity of the Utah tech and startup scene. He regularly throws and supports events that give a voice and support for underrepresented groups. He gets stoked to see people challenging the norms and loves pushing the envelope wherever possible.
