Heart Meetings for a Connected World
Heart Meetings are simple frameworks and methods created by HejHumans for using presence to speak to each other's hearts and create a place of trust, care and curiosity in a playful way.
In this workshop, we will use the Heart Meeting approach to connect with ourselves and each other. Then we will look deeper still and explore how we can connect with other humans outside of our typical bubbles through the same presence. Going beyond the identities that can create separation between me and you, us and them.
The purpose of Heart Meetings is to create a safe place to interact with other people about the things that are vital to us as human beings. Here we actively share and listen to each other in order to support and grow together. We explore different methods and frameworks to meet each other as people and have meaningful conversations. Here we filter out all the titles and boxes that can be put on in society to be able to unite with the understanding that we all need the same things - such as being seen, heard, accepted, appreciated, loved and feeling meaning and purpose.
The methods and exercises we use are a combination of already existing material and exercises that we at HejHumans have developed. Among other things, we use the Authentic Relating conversation method, which is for sharing and listening about important life topics.
