Breakfast Club x Crypto Bar
「ナイトライフが生み出す文化の意、今昔」
文化を生み出し、人々を魅了し続け、流動的なコミュニティが育まれる場所である「クラブ」。ナイトライフに精通するゲストを様々な世代からお招きし、クラブカルチャーが形成されてきた歴史を辿り、60年代のヒッピーカルチャーから現代メディアアート、90年代のスタートアップから現在のハイパーコーポレートまで、様々な文脈からナイトライフが生み出す文化の意を感じ取れる一夜が恵比寿Crypto Cafe&Barにて開催されます。
前半はベルリンのクラブシーンに精通するメディアアート学者でもある武邑光裕先生をお招きし、シカゴのナイトクラブThe LimelightなどでDJを務めたDigital Garageの伊藤穰一、芝浦GOLDのクリエイティブ・ディレクターとして活躍し現Breakfast Clubのオーナーの塩井るり、そして現在のクラブシーンで活躍するメディアアーティストJACKSON kakiとイベントオーガナイザーのYiqingを交えてクラブカルチャーについてのトークショーを行います。
後半はJoi、Yiqing、MiloによるDJとJACKSON kakiによるA/Vパフォーマンス。ぜひ会場にてナイトクラブが生み出してきた文化を体感してください。

A night for Club Culture — throughout the night we will have special guests from different eras, celebrating the past, present and future of spaces and people that define club culture. Tracing its history from the 60's hippie culture to contemporary media art, from the 90's startups to hyper-corporate environments, this night will allow you to experience the culture birthed by nightlife in a variety of contexts.
The first half of the event will be an open discussion with Professor Mitsuhiro Takemura, a media art scholar and expert on the Berlin club scene, Joi Ito of Digital Garage, who has DJ'd at Chicago nightclubs such as The Limelight, Luli Shioi, creative director of Shibaura GOLD and current owner of Breakfast Club, current club scene media artist JACKSON kaki, and event organizer Yiqing.
The second half will feature DJ Joi, DJ Yiqing, and DJ Milo as well as an A/V performance by JACKSON kaki. Come to Crypto Bar in Ebisu to experience it for yourself!
**This event is free, but please buy a drink ticket at the entrance. There also won't be food served.
