The Hustle & The Flow: Balancing Masculine & Feminine Energy in Career & Life
In our careers, we’re often conditioned to push, hustle, take action, and stay in constant motion. Many of us juggle demanding jobs, relationships, social lives, staying in shape, keeping a home, and an endless to-do list—all without slowing down. Like Dr. Joe Dispenza says, we can become “addicted to the stress.” I know this firsthand, as I once lived in that constant state of doing—until my health forced me to find balance.
I was always in motion, never stopping, never slowing down. I ran if I had a spare minute, did double workouts on weekends, and constantly chased the next thing on my to-do list. It was how I stayed on top of everything—or so I thought. Then, my diagnosis hit. The entire right side of my body went haywire. It turns out, the right side represents the masculine. I had been living in the masculine for so long that my body literally forced me to rebalance.
This talk will explore:
How high-achieving women can integrate more feminine energy into their daily lives—without compromising success.
Recognizing when we’re stuck in the hustle and how to shift into receiving, trust, and flow.
Practical ways to bring in the feminine: Small, daily shifts like journaling, gratitude, meditating, sitting outside with our coffee, walking with awareness instead of rushing, connecting with our breath, and checking in with our bodies throughout the day.
How finding this balance supports well-being, resilience, and long-term success.
The feminine is the receiving, the trust, the allowing, the calm, the connection to nature, the knowing that it’s all working out. It’s stepping away from the endless cycle of pushing and learning to also receive.
We can incorporate these moments in daily life. Maybe it’s a reminder on your phone to pause and breathe, a commitment to start or end the day with stillness, or setting boundaries around when work ends and presence begins. Maybe it’s stepping into the feminine after leaving the office—letting go of the day and allowing yourself to unwind.
Returning to balance, connecting with trust and self-love, embracing nature, and following my heart and calling were all ways I brought myself back to health. These small, intentional shifts are what allow us to thrive without burning out.
About Kristen Renee
Kristen Renee is a former Bay Area executive turned holistic wellness expert, author, and course creator. After overcoming significant personal challenges—including childhood trauma, limiting beliefs, burnout, divorce, and an autoimmune diagnosis—Kristen’s own journey to wellness became a path of growth and transformation, addressing every aspect of her life along the way.
For over a decade, Kristen struggled with chronic illness and persistent inflammation, trying nearly every healing modality. She found that healing focused solely on the gut wasn’t enough, and the illness would inevitably return. True transformation required addressing the mind-body connection. Kristen witnessed firsthand how acts of courage, understanding the body’s communication, addressing past trauma and emotions, and moving from fear to trust, survival to balance, disassociation to connection, and ultimately stepping into purpose were all directly tied to her healing.
Through her Elements of Healing 12-Layer Online Program, Kristen now helps others create lasting transformation by returning to the basics. Her approach addresses all the key layers of the healing journey—mind, body, and spirit—empowering individuals to foster balance and connection within themselves and their environment.
Kristen is the author of The Purpose Workbook: Finding Your Path to Purpose, with several more books in progress, and the creator of The Growth Path newsletter, bridging healing with workplace wellness. She offers online courses, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to guide people toward lasting transformation and a more balanced, connected life filled with purpose, authenticity, courage, nature, and love.
