Decentralized Governance and Digital Asset Prices with Jill Grennan

​Jillian Grennan is an Associate Professor of Finance and Law at Santa Clara University and currently visiting the University of California, Berkeley.  She will be joining us to discuss the interactive role governance and culture play in scaling organizations.  Drawing on years of research examining corporate culture and governance, she will highlight how best practices in governance differ with DAOs (e.g., check out her paper on optimizing decentralized governance) as well as the ways to enhance culture in a decentralized setting (e.g., emoticons and other digital forms of empathy can help).  Through her lecture and Q&A, she hopes to provide builders and DAO community members with practical tips for growing and strengthening DAOs.
