Dr. Prasad Acharya, MD MPH MBA FACPM is a physician leader specializing in population health, clinical informatics, and healthcare innovation. As Chief of Staff at Prometheus Federal Services, he serves as a subject matter expert in population health, leads technology integration initiatives in healthcare delivery systems, drives AI integration efforts, and supports the establishment of a new clinical informatics capability. Dr. Acharya established an AI Center of Excellence, directing teams in AI operations, governance structures, and responsible AI adoption strategies. His experience spans local health departments, federal consulting, and digital health startups, where he has implemented data integration systems and guided digital health startups in engaging underserved populations. Among several other roles in ACPM, Dr. Acharya served as Population Health Faculty, developing CDC-funded coursework on leveraging health information technology to drive innovation, advance population health, and reduce health inequities. He also created a course on effective physician leadership and change management to drive transformative change in the health ecosystem. As President-Elect of the California Academy of Preventive Medicine, he shapes policy and practice in Preventive Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Acharya's contributions to the field were recognized with the American College of Preventive Medicine's Rising Star Award.
