Town Hall: Planning the Future of Indy Hall (IRL Discussion)
With a big Indy Hall birthday - 17 years! - around the corner and just over a year and a half in our "new" clubhouse, we realized that it's been far too long since our last community Town Hall.
Throughout our history, Town Halls have been a chance to gather as a community so we can reflect on where we've been and where we're going, together.
So whether you're a brand new member, a longtime lurker, a regular participant online or in person or anything in between, we hope you'll join us at one of the 2 upcoming sessions to gather and discuss Indy Hall past, present, and future endeavors.
To maximize most peoples' ability to join in, we'll be hosting 2 sessions, one online and one IRL. All members are invited to both/either, regardless of your membership level, access, or preference for participation! Both will begin promptly at 4pm Eastern time and run for 1 hour.
ONLINE DISCUSSION: Wednesday, August 16 (https://indyhall.org/zoom)
IN-PERSON DISCUSSION: Friday, August 18 (709 N. 2nd Street)
Topics covered in both 60-minute Town Hall's will include:
What we've learned from the last 18 months since re-opening after quarantine, and how we can build on those lessons
Discussing what's working and what's not, so we can make improvements that benefit everyone
Designing a new membership level for people who want a sense of community and place, but don't necessarily need a place to work during the day.
Because it's been several years since our last community town hall, we don't want this to be an hour long info dump. We want this to be a conversation that YOU contribute to.
⭐️ Before you join, we want you to think about your answer to this question: what is our community giving you? What do you want to get from our community?
