Sharpen Your System Design Skills Through Hands-on Practice
Join us for an intensive, hands-on Architecture Kata where you'll exercise and strengthen your system design capabilities. This practical session will help you develop better architectural thinking through real-world scenarios and collaborative problem-solving.

Who Should Attend:
This workshop is ideal for:
• Software Architects and Tech Leads
• Senior Software Engineers (6+ years of experience)
• Professionals looking to transition into architectural roles
• Anyone involved in making technical decisions for software systems
Workshop Format & Structure:
Phase 1: Team formation [15 mins]
During this phase we will be forming teams of 4 each.
Phase 2: Kata description [15 mins]
During this phase we will be sharing the system we would be designing and moderators will clarify any questions participants may have.
Phase 3: Design [90 mins]
All the teams will get to work and start collaborating with their team members and arrive at a system design.
Phase 4: Review [60mins | 10 mins per team]
This the most important part of this event. Getting feedback from our peers. This will help get different perspectives and allow us to learn from each other.
What to expect?
A lot of learning and sharing through collaboration and peer reviews.
What do you need?
The groups will be white boarding the design for the problem. You won't necessarily need anything for this session.
Post the event we will have a open conversations over lunch and refreshments. We would encourage everyone to stay back and interact with as many people as possible. This is a group of people who are going through a similar journey as yours and we all could learn from each other.
Notes:
Parking won't be available in the office, but however the area around is safe for you to park. Since our office is in a residential area, just make sure gates of the residents are not blocked.
