About Event
This 60-minute experience is formatted in a vinyasa sequence of poses. However, the focus is on very specific parts of the body or “families” of body parts (for example, thoracic spine, sacroiliac joint, ball-and-socket joints). Many of the movements are therapeutic in nature. The desired outcome in the practice is to increase mobility, loosen connective tissue and find that healthy balance of stability and mobility. Some classes may involve self-administered myofascial release or acupressure self-massage.
Please bring a yoga mat, two blocks, a yoga strap, a bolster, a resistance band, a myofascial release ball (we recommend Jill Miller’s Roll Model® Massage Therapy Balls) and drinking water.
