The Wee Swap (Open to All)
The Wee Swap is a one-off (for now!) community initiative in East Belfast where young families can donate in advance their gently-used children’s clothes and toys, and swap them for some new-to-you treasures.
Don't have anything to donate in advance? No problem, everyone is welcome to take whatever they like after 1.30pm.
IMPORTANT - We won't be accepting donations on the day of the event. To get 'First Dibs' access (12pm-1.30pm), you must donate in advance. Check out @theweeswap on Instagram for more details on donation days and what you can donate.
What else is happening on the day?
There will be a lineup of creative activities to engage the little ones and help them see the positive impact they are having by taking part.
Kids ‘Drop in and Stitch’ Workshop with BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee star Angeline Murphy. Upcycle your own clothes or create crafty bookmarks. (Under 9s must be accompanied by an adult.)
Big Art & Wee Crafts with Artist Ro Owens. Join in creating a collaborative mural of Belfast and Halloween-themed bunting using recycled materials.
Face Painting with Just Peachy Parties NI
Banana Block's Amenities Open as Usual: Enjoy a bite to eat and coffee while you’re here!
