Plotly Data Exploration of NYC

​The dataset (on GitHub: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/plotly/tutorial-code/refs/heads/main/Open_Parking_and_Camera_Violations.csv) we will be exploring today is on open parking and camera violations. Here is the initial project data app.

Join us in building Python data apps and visualizations, based on the NYC dataset of the month. We'll work in small groups to build creative and interesting data apps, while using AI to support our progress.

​Don't worry if you're new to Python and Plotly. Adam will provide a brief workshop at the beginning of the session.

​Note: please bring your own laptops with batteries loaded. We'll bring the food and soda. Also, we encourage you to join Plotly's Discord server where we discuss the projects we tackle at these events.

Our collaborative sessions focus on analyzing our city's data with the goal of learning about New York City and making it a better place for everyone.
