Chakra Yoga
In this 60-minute experience, we will delve into the Vedic energy systems through which we can access our wholeness, the Chakra System.
Each month, we will theme classes around a specific chakra (and occasionally around the entire system), and the formats will vary from wee-to-week. Some classes will include a Dharma talk, others will not.
In the first week of each month, we’ll carry the practice through a vinyasa flow format. In week two, we’ll explore that chakra through a yin practice. In the third week of each month, we’ll investigate the chakra of the month in a VinYin (35-minutes of vinyasa practice followed by 25-minutes of yin practice). And we’ll close each month with a chakra practice in a restorative class.
To be safe, enjoy and get the most out of your practice, you’ll need: a sticky mat (1, 2, 3, 4)*, two yoga blocks (1,2,3, 4), a yoga strap or belt (1, 2, 3, 4), a blanket, (2, 3, 4) and a a yoga bolster (2, 3, 4).
