Unityverse: Unity Workshop
Unityverse: Unity Workshop is a hands-on, beginner-friendly session introducing the basics of game development with Unity. Participants will learn core skills like navigating the Unity interface, object manipulation, and simple C# scripting. Open to Sunway Game Development Club members, the workshop fosters creativity and is a great starting point for aspiring developers. Special guest Brenden Tan Poh Guan (Kudo), Advisor and former President of APU Game Development Club, will share his insights and experiences in the field.

6:00 PM - Opening Remarks : Welcome, brief overview and introduction of participants, workshop and Guest Speaker from APUGDC - Brenden Tan Poh Guan (Kudo)
6:05 PM - Introduction to game development: Speaker shares his insights and experiences in game development.
6:30 PM - Introduction to game engine: Covers the fundamentals of a game engine, its components and importance in game development.
7:00 PM - Tour of Unity UI: Participants will be guided through the Unity user interface, understanding its various panels and functionalities for game creation.
7:45 PM - Develop a simple Flappy bird inspired game: Hands-on activity where participants will apply learned concepts to build a basic game, guided by the speaker.
9:00 PM - Short Q&A Session : Guest speaker answer participants questions from workshop.
9:15 PM - Closing Remarks : Appreciation of participation to speaker and members.
9:20 PM - Group Photo - Gather for a Group Photo.
