Ready to supercharge your portfolio? Join PMC and TELUS for a two-week deep dive into product management. Collaborate with peers to solve real-world challenges and gain hands-on experience, culminating in a fully-fledged project to boost your career and set you apart in the competitive tech industry!
What to Expect:
🛠 Work in teams of 4 to solve a real world product challenge provided by TELUS, gaining hands-on experience like never before!
💡 This is a no-code challenge, allowing you to focus 100% on the product side of things—from research to ideation to execution.
🤝 Get assigned a personal mentor—a professional, seasoned Product Manager who will guide your team through every step of the competition, offering feedback and insights.
📈 Go through the full PM process structured in 4 key phases:
1️⃣ Discovery – Understand the problem, conduct user research, and analyze the market
2️⃣ Solution – Brainstorm, prioritize features, and define an MVP
3️⃣ Construction – Design mockups, build prototypes, and validate your ideas (again, no coding required!)
4️⃣ Presentation – Pitch your final solution to industry professionals

Itinerary
To ensure you are supported throughout your 2-week journey, we will be hosting mentor check-ins and workshops led by TELUS, IncrementOne, and Scrum Alliance.

Opening Kick-off + TELUS workshop: Saturday, February 22nd @ 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM *
Workshop 2: Wednesday, February 26th @ 6 PM - 7:15 PM *
Workshop 3: Saturday, March 2nd @ 6 PM - 7 PM (optional)
Workshop 4: Wednesday, March 5th @ 6 PM - 7:15 PM *
Presentation Day: Saturday, March 8th @ 11 AM - 4 PM *
