In this session, Jeb Keiper, CEO of Nimbus Therapeutics will share his journey and the strategies he used to successfully navigate the challenging path from innovation to market leadership. About speaker:

Jeb Keiper, M.S., M.B.A., has served as a President and Chief Executive Officer and as a board director since October 2018, and previously served as Chief Business Officer from November 2014 to October 2018 and also as Chief Financial Officer from February 2017 to October 2018. Since joining Nimbus, Jeb Keiper has overseen the discovery and development of three programs into clinical testing across a range of indications, raised over $400M in equity funding, executed deals worth over $7 billion, and returned over $4B in gains back to equity holders. Prior to joining Nimbus, Jeb served as the Vice President of Business Development at GSK Oncology (NYSE: GSK) from March 2011 to October 2014, where he was responsible for identifying and concluding several critical collaborations for GSK in Oncology, including the Novartis-GSK Oncology integration, and spent a decade at GSK in various business development leadership roles. Prior to GSK, Jeb was a consultant at McKinsey & Company from September 2000 to 2002 and again from September 2004 to 2005, after having started his career as a pharmaceutical chemist at Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) in 1998. Jeb currently serves as a member of the board of directors at private biotechnology companies Cardurion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and ROME Therapeutics, Inc., and he also serves on the philanthropic board of managers for Life Science Cares in Boston. Jeb Keiper received two B.S. degrees, one in Chemistry and one in Chemical Engineering, as well as an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a joint program in Biomedical Enterprises with the Harvard Medical School.

About moderator

Nimita Dave, MS, PhD, is the Head of Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Operations at LAPIX Therapeutics and an Adjunct Faculty at University of Cincinnati. She is also a current executive MBA student at MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to joining LAPIX, Nimita was at Nimbus Therapeutics (November 2021 to November 2022), where she led clinical pharmacology of Nimbus’s clinical immunology asset. Prior to Nimbus, Nimita was at Blueprint Medicines, where she was the DMPK and clinical pharmacology lead on 2 oncology and one rare disease drug approvals. She started her industry career at Abbvie where she worked on the clinical pharmacology team on their oncology asset Venclexta. Nimita did her NIH T32 Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology from Indiana University School of Medicine after receiving her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Cincinnati, Masters in Medicinal Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University and Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India.
