​Join us for CryptoMondays Barcelona, a relaxed gathering for both seasoned cryptocurrency enthusiasts and newcomers eager to dive into the world of digital assets.

This time we will have an honored guest with us, Griff Green.

Griff has been a well respected leader within the Ethereum community since 2015 & received a masters degree in Digital Currency in 2016 (first formal degree ever awarded in the field).

As community manager for Slock.it and TheDAO, he led every angle of the crisis response effort following TheDAO Hack. He co-founded the White Hat Group, which secured the at-risk funds (10% of all ETH) during TheDAO hack and one year later rescued $210 million dollars worth of crypto assets following the Parity Multisig Hack. Griff and the WHG also audited Aragon and MakerDAO systems.

In 2016, Griff founded Giveth, a crypto donation platform that radically empowers individuals and communities to affect real change in a transparent, decentralized way. Griff co-founded DAppnode in 2018, and Commons Stack in 2019. Commons Stack is the natural progression of Giveth’s efforts to build the future of giving from a Token Engineering perspective with a goal of turning any non-profit cause into an impact investment.

From the Commons Stack, Griff helped create the Trusted Seed and the Token Engineering Commons. In 2021, Griff co-founded General Magic, a web3 design and dev studio focused on web3 impact projects and led the creation of Praise spinning it out to its own org in 2022 and am currently developing Pairwise, a novel voting system for DAOs.

He has contributed to dozens of other projects as well, most notably, PolygonID, PolygonHermez, and brightID all of which he helped to initiate and continues to support in an advisory capacity also he acts as an active and large delegate for ENS, Arbitrum, Optimism and Gitcoin.
