A meetup focused on inclusion, and the continuation of the ThreeFold / Dunia Yetu event held in January in Dar Es Salaam. An evening of interactivity focused on building and signposting resources for audience members – with a key goal of identifying a community for a new dev hub in Tanzania and piloting the Dunia Yetu coding academy.

Session I: Technical Demos | Deploying a Sovereign Internet Infrastructure
In the first session of the meetup, we will recap January’s Dunia Yetu event in Dar and bring clear and actionable steps the community can take already in terms of connecting capacity to and building on top of a sovereign Internet infrastructure. Interested attendees are encouraged to bring their own hardware.

Session II: H.E.R. DAO and Community Development
In the second session, Tracey Bowen, Founder of H.E.R. DAO will introduce the fastest growing diverse developer DAO championing innovation and inclusion in web3. We will then open up for a panel discussion and interactive session focused on identifying local developer needs, bringing forward helpful resources, and setting the stage for the future of the Dunia Yetu Coding Academy in Dar Es Salaam.
