The Network
The Network is a community meeting which main goal is to promote networking and partnerships, involving academy, private sector and government. It is organized by the Blockchain Innovation Hub, and this first edition will have the collaboration of LunCo and IBMEC.
Rio de Janeiro is consolidating as the most innovative and crypto-friendly city in Brazil. Rio City Hall already accepts $BTC for annual real estate tax (https://cointelegraph.com/news/rio-de-janeiro-to-accept-bitcoin-for-real-estate-taxes-from-2023), runs the SandBox program (https://www.sandboxrio.com.br) where innovative ideas can be tested in a protected and controlled environment.
Additionally, on March 19th we officially launched our Blockchain Innovation Hub (the first of its kind in Brazil), then we are committed to promote networking and partnerships aiming to build innovative and impact blockchain projects using all the infrastructure and advantages Rio de Janeiro state is offering.
Fill the application form if you are interested to be a Speaker and promote your project. Selected speakers might have 10 min or 20 min to talk. We have special, but not exclusive, interest in projects showing potential synergies with our Blockchain Innovation Hub. Deadline for Speakers application: May 6th.
