About the Author: Michael Fischer is the founder of DBDAO.xyz, a database for web3 applications.  He lives in NYC where he founded the DeSci NYC group, which hosts monthly meetups on how science can be accelerated using blockchain technologies.  Previously, Michael finished his PhD at Stanford University in computer science where he studied natural language processing and how AI can allow someone to specify a program using natural language.  Before, he was an undergrad at Stanford University studying computer science.  He is co-author of the book “Regulating AI” and was the head teaching assistant at Stanford in the department of computer science and at Stanford Law School for a course taught by a California Supreme Court Justice.
