Mystery Paint + Sip
As part of Figma's Config week, Pour Toi x Space to Grow are hosting a creative evening of curiosity, art, and community. It all starts with a mystery art kit — you don’t know exactly what’s inside, but there’s a theme and a prompt to guide you. You paint, experiment, and share what you’ve made with others.
Pour Toi combines creativity with mindfulness, reducing stress, and fostering connection. Burnout is all too common in the design + tech community and it can hold us back from pursuing our best work or dream career path. Using art therapy principles, we’ll create a space where designers can ditch the screen, center their creative intuition, and unlock new ideas — whether about their practice or their career.
What to expect
🍷 ARRIVE at Studio Aurora at 5:30, grab a beverage and try what some are calling the best sandwich in San Francisco
🪑GRAB A SPOT at an easel and art kit, but don't open it yet!
🎁 WE UNBOX THE KITS together at 6:00pm. You reveal your mystery prompt, scan the QR code to the curated image gallery, and begin painting. We'll go around to offer any support that you need. If you need a color you don't have, borrow it from a new friend!
🖌️ BRUSHES DOWN at 7:30 pm. Walk around and check out what others' creations. Start cleaning up at the stations provided.
🖼️ IT'S A WRAP at 8:00 pm. Take your painting home and reflect on your creative transformation.
