V Community Meet Up - Alps Edition

​VDAO is organizing its first community meet-up in the Alps. Family-friendly and high nature, we will go for a hike and enjoy some locally made delicacies and drinks at 1700m within the dolomites.

Plan for the day:
10:00 am meet at Weißlahnbad (BZ, Italy) parking spot
10:30 hike start towards Schutzhaus Tschafon (https://www.schutzhaus-tschafon.com/en/schutzhaus-tschafon)
12:00 arrival at Schutzhaus Tschafon and small tour of the farm
12:30 Intro to VDAO by Kris (V DAO Coordinator) followed by lunch and drinks (sponsored by VDAO)
15:30 hiking down

Notes:
This is a hike, please bring appropriate gear (hiking shoes, water, backpack, etc) as we will be hiking for around 1:30 hours. If you have kids you ideally have a carrier or a mountain friendly buggy (Thule etc). Sleeping options: Fié allo Sciliar, Tieres, Bolzano. this is absolutely family friendly, there is a beautiful playground at the top and there will be at least 5 other kids aged 1-7
